BIG PUSH: President Mahama to cut sod for the redevelopment of 177km Atimpoku-Ho-Denu-Aflao road
Government's BIG PUSH agenda is set to kick in motion with the President, John Dramani Mahama expected to cut the sod for the redevelopment of the one hundred and seventy-seven (177) kilometers Atimpoku - Ho - Denu - Aflao road. The road construction will also feature the dualization of the Anyrawase - Ho UHAS bypass - Titrinu (km 49.4 - 70.0) and the almost eight (7.7) kilometers Ho Guinness Depot-Ho airport.
The contract has been awarded to Messrs. First sky limited by the John Mahama government through the Ministry of Roads and Highways, with Ghana Highway Authority as the implementing agency.

Per the information available on the signpost, the source of funding is the government of Ghana through the John Mahama-led NDC government's flagship policy, The BIG PUSH.
Already, some indigenes of the Volta Region have have hailed this intervention by the government, after sustained advocacy.
