The John Mahama-led National Democratic Congress (NDC) government has booted out staff members of the National Youth Employment Authority who were employed in November, 2025 by the erstwhile AKufo Addo-led NPP government.
This was contained in a notice issued on the Authority’s staff platforms last week by the Western Regional Director of the NYA, Abdul Hakeem Mahama.
“As per our organizational policies, staff members who were engaged in November 2024 and have not been confirmed in their positions are required to vacate their posts with immediate effect,” the notice read.
The sacked staff have been ordered to return any property of government in their possession emanating from their time with the NYA.
“Please return all agency properties, including documents and equipment, to your supervisor or designated officer by the end of the day,”
